Deurtal is an information platform only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any company data. We are not responsible for outcomes of your outreach, responses from companies, job offers, or any third-party actions. Use of our service is at your sole risk. We provide no warranties of any kind, express or implied.
1. Who we are
Deurtal ('we', 'us', 'our') operates deurtal.com, an information platform that helps professionals discover Netherlands-based companies. We aggregate and display publicly available or third-party data. We do not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy of company information. We are based in the Netherlands.
2. Data we collect
We collect: (a) Account data: email address, username, and password when you sign up; (b) Profile data: role, experience, language, and company preferences from onboarding; (c) Usage data: companies you view, track (contact records), and favorites. We do not guarantee the accuracy or security of stored data.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to: provide the service (company discovery, tracking, email drafts); personalise your experience (filters, saved preferences); communicate with you (account-related emails, support); improve our platform; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
Under the GDPR, we process your data based on: (a) Contract — to provide the service you signed up for; (b) Legitimate interests — to improve the platform and prevent abuse; (c) Consent — where we ask for it explicitly (e.g. marketing).
5. Data sharing
We use Supabase (EU) for database and authentication. We do not sell your data. We may share data if required by law or to protect our rights. We are not responsible for the practices, security, or policies of these or any third-party services.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account exists. Contact records and preferences are kept until you delete them or close your account. We may retain some data for legal or audit purposes.
7. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent. Contact us at avertabuss@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Cookies and third-party advertising
We use essential cookies for session and preferences (e.g. language). We may use analytics cookies with your consent. We use Google AdSense to display ads on our site. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant ads based on your browsing activity. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. 9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deurtal and its operators disclaim all liability for: (a) any inaccuracy, error, or omission in company data; (b) any actions you take based on our platform (including emails sent, applications made, or contact attempts); (c) any outcomes, responses, or lack thereof from companies; (d) third-party services, links, or content; (e) loss of data, business, or profits; (f) any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our service is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind. Your use of Deurtal constitutes acceptance of these limitations.
